Aircraft used for real-time, interactive simulation and training. Pre-existing meshes of individual components needed mesh modification and compilation into a single aircraft asset. Once compiled, the mesh was unwrapped and textured. Due to production limitations, only diffuse maps could be used, with the majority of the mesh being covered by a single 2048 x 2048 texture. Based on review and feedback, the diffuse map also had to be left fairly clean with minimal edge wear and dirt since the asset would be used for instructional purposes.
